Mithi Leads FDH Premiership Golden Boot Race

Mighty Wanderers forward Lameck Mithi tops the golden boot race for the FDH Premiership after Week 6, having scored five goals in six games this season.

The 18-year-old was signed from Ascent Soccer Academy after breaking into the top-flight league while playing for Moyale Barracks last season. Notably, he scored a brace against FCB Nyasa Big Bullets.

After joining the Lali Lubani Boys, he set himself apart and earned a starting place. He has started four matches, with two appearances coming off the bench.

He scored four goals in the last two games to leapfrog Festus Duwe of Silver Strikers, who is now joined by Tonic Viyuyi of Blue Eagles on four goals in the race.
