The battle for points reached a climax last weekend when the peoples team Nyasa Big Bullets came neck to neck with the bankers Silver Strikers at 39 points each but the latter has a game in hand.
The bankers were forced to a goalless draw by Red Lions while Bullets were 2-1 winners over Mighty Tigers. This means any missed point at this stage you're gone and this spices the beauty of the game.
For bottom of the table teams (Warriors, Ntopwa and Tigers), I don't see them surviving. Even though their play looks promising, teams are judged by results so it will be hard for them to come back.
There is good play from all teams in the league but scoring goals at open play is difficult. It's either we don't have good finishers or we have good goal minders; average score per game is a goal.
This cripples the national team. We are fond of singing the same tune: ββwe played well but we failed to scoreββ. Let's polish up our striking machinery locally for a better tomorrow.
