Yiannakis eyes Scorchers place

FCB Nyasa Big Bullets Women midfielder, Alexia Iouria Yiannakis, said she is ready to represent Malawi in her international career if she earns a chance to do so.

She said this on the teams postcast during a one on one interview with the 17 year old star and indicated clearly that she is looking forward to represent the country.

Yiannakis was born and raise in the country from Greek parents who does businesses in the country which put hef eligible to play for either Malawi and Greece.

Meanwhile, the player still undergoes development stages in her career as she is a rare starter at Bullets Women as her all appearances in the NBM Premiership has been as a substitute.

She has two goals and one assist in the league plus one player of the match award which she earned after netting a decisive goal against Mighty Wanderers Queens.
