Flames win excites Pasuwa
Flames head coach, Kalisto Pasuwa, says he is happy with their 0-2 win over Comoros in the African Nations Championship Qualifiers saying it is a motivation for the players.
Pasuwa said this after the match at the Bingu National Stadium which saw the Flames taking a two goal advantage ahead of the second leg on Saturday thanks to goals from Binwell Katinji and Zebron Kalima.
He said the boys dropped performance in the second half as they are yet fit due to off season.
"Remember the boys were in off season so some of them are yet fit and also the height of the grass made them struggle to move with the ball in the second half but we managed the came for almost 35 minutes then we caught them on a break." Said Pasuwa.
Meanwhile, he further said it is good to see progress when building a team and he expects more from the players.
The team will play Comoros again in the second leg on Saturday and they will face the winner between Egypt and South Africa if they progress into the next round.
