Bullets to face Wanderers in Airtel Top 8 semi-final
On Sunday Nyasa Big Bullets came from behind to beat MAFCO, 2-1 to secure their spot in Airtel Top 8 semi-finals.
Bullets where trailing in the first half following Paul Phiri's goal at 18th minute.
It was Babatunde Adepoju who equalised for the People's team at 78th minute before scoring the winning goal at 90+2 minutes through the spot when Chiukepo Msowoya was brought down in the penalty box.
Bullets are the second team to progress to the semis behind Mighty Wanderers who won their game against Moyale Barracks to progress to next stage of the competition.
According to a draw which was conducted at half time during the game, Bullets are now scheduled to face arch-rivals Mighty Wanderers in Airtel Top 8 semi-final.
Another semi-final will involve the winners between TN Stars/Silver Strikers who will battle it out against the winners of Karonga United/Civil Service United fixture.
The sponsors of the tournament, Airtel Malawi Plc are pumping in K234 million and the champions will pocket K17 million.
