''Mtondera deserves Flames' place'' - Makonyola

Mitundu Baptist head coach, Audlow Makonyola, believes that his team's talisman, Raheem Mtondera, deserves a place at the national team and that he can deliver beyond people's expectations.

He said this after the forward netting a brace in their 3-0 win over Chintheche United at the Maliri Ground in the NBS Bank National Division League to take his tally to 17 goals in the league.

Makonyola said with propet resources, Mtondera is an exceptional player who can benefit the nation.

''He is just a top player and i think he deserved to earn a place at the national team and he can do well too. As you know that these local teams can not meet players needs but he is just too good,'' said Makonyola.

The team is sitting fourth in the league with 28 points, 11 points behind leaders Red Lions but Makonyola said his team will be promoted into the Super League.
