Allan hat-trick punishes Moyale in Bankers win

Emmanuel Allan scored a hat-trick against his former team Moyale Barracks to inspire Silver Strikers to a 3-0 win at the Silver Stadium and cut the gap to the top two to 9 points on Wednesday afternoon.

The Bankers played a goalless draw before getting a numerical advantage after Ntopicho Njewa was sent off early in the second half allowing Allan to punch the Soldiers three times.

Assistant coach Mapopa Msukwa said the win was good and hailed the changes the team made in the game as impactful.

''The chances to defend the league are still high, i think we just need to be consistent enough and also work hard, i believe it is able to achieve that,'' said Msukwa.

The Bankers remain third in the league as they now have 44 points from 22 games having won 12 games, 8 draws and two defeats in the league.
