Wanderers beat Tigers retain top spot
Mighty Wanderers have reclaimed the top spot in the TNM Super League after putting an improved second half performance to beat Mighty Tigers 3-0 at the Kamuzu Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.
The Nomads failed to unlock the Kaukau boys in the opening first 45 minutes but after changes, Muhammad Sulumba, Blessings Mwalilino and Isaac Kaliati scored a goal each to seal the win.
Head coach for the Nomads, Bob Mpinganjira, said the win was good and attributed this to changes they made which brought fluidity on the midfield.
''We are looking forward to the next game against Chitipa, we have 7 games left and it is still a long way to go but we will try hard so that we get more points,'' said Mpinganjira.
The Nomads moved up to 55 points from 16 games and 7 draws to be on top of the League with two points above FCB Nyasa Big Bullets on second.
