Waka swallows three goals in two games as Ekhaya struggle in second round
Ekhaya FC suffered their second defeat in the second round of the TNM Super League as their K10 million worthy goalkeeper, Joshua Waka, conceded yet another goal in a 1-0 defeat over Civil Service United at the Civo Stadium on Wednesday.
Dastan Banda's first half strike was enough for the Civil servants to claim a win and teach the Cowboys about the heat of the second round as they also lost 2-1 to Mzuzu City Hammers at home last weekend.
Head coach for the team, Enos Chatama, said his team lost due to a defensive error in the game but knows they will bounce back stronger.
"We have lost two games now but we have good players and we are building a good team because this season is for us to survive while making a good team so we will sit down and look at what has went wrong." Said Chatama.
The team has dropped down to 6th on the log table with 26 points from 17 games in the League.
