SULOM, Silver for fans safety in League opener

The Super League of Malawi has confirmed that the 2025 TNM Super League official opening match which involves Silver Strikers and FCB Nyasa Big Bullets will be played at the Bingu National Stadium this coming Saturday.

This follows a Press statement by the Association on Monday which indicated that the Association has resolved their disagreements with Silver Strikers to settle for the number Stadium.

"The match will take place on Saturday, 5 April 2025 at Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe which is Silver Striker’s alternative venue." Wrote SULOM.

Meanwhile, the Statement further says that the decision has been made to ensure the safety of fans, players and also officials involved in the match.

"This collaborative decision reflects the commitment to providing the best possible experience and safety for fans, players and officials. Both SULOM and Silver Strikers are committed to ensuring the security and enjoyment of all football

lovers at this match." The statement added.

The tickets for the match has been pegged at K5,000 for pre-sale and K7,000 on the day of the match, the VIP Stands tickets are on K15,000 on Pre-sale and K20, 000 on the match day.
