FLAMES RISE IN FIFA RANKINGS

Malawi National Football team has moved from 134 to 131 in the latest World FIFA rankings following their recent performance in the just ended African Cup of Nations Qualifiers.

This has been revealed on Thursday by the World's Football governing body in a list released via their website.

The Flames managed to drew 0-0 to Burundi before beating Burkina Faso 3-0 in their last groups matches.

The rise has been experienced after the hiring of interim coaches, Kalisto Pasuwa and Peter Mponda following the firing of Patrick Mabedi.
