MALAWI U-20 IN POT 1 OF COSAFA DRAW

Malawi U-20 National Football team has been placed in pot 1 where there are three high ranked teams.

This has been known by COSAFA as they are to conduct a draw for the 2025 TotalEnergies U-20 African Cup of Nations Qualifiers COSAFA Cup on Thursday at 11:00hrs.

In the draw, Mozambique has been seeded in Group A as host while Zambia and South Africa are also seeded and placed in Group B and C respectively.

The draw will start with Pot 1 where there is Malawi, Angola and Eswatini as they will be separated as number two teams in the three groups.

The Pot B which has Botswana, Comoros, Namibia, Lesotho, Madagascar and Zimbabwe will now complete the final two teams in each group.

The top teams in each group plus the best runner up will progress to the semi finals of the tournament in Mozambique from 26 September to 5 October 2024.
