COSAFA CAF WOMEN'S CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL SET!

University of Western Cape will play Gaborone United in the final of the COSAFA CAF Women's Champions League after beating Young Buffaloes from Eswatini 6-0 in a semi final match played at the Mpira Stadium in Blantyre, Malawi.

The Intellectuals have been brilliant since their first game of the tournament when they lost 1-0 to Green Buffaloes of Zambia but have been brilliant throughout the tournament.

A penalty kick goal from Nondumiso Manengela and another from Bongeka Gamede put the South Africans 2-0 ahead at half time before second half goals from Ntombifikile Ndlovu, Tiffany Kortjie, Koketso Mamabolo and Sibulele Holweni completing the massacre.

The team will face Gaborone United from Botswana which beat Zimbabwe's Herentals Queens 1-0 in another Semi final match.

The final match will be played on Saturday at the Mpira Stadium from 14:00hrs with the winner joining Mamelodi Sundowns to the CAF Women's Champions League...
