MALAWIAN GWENGWE EXTENDS BRITISH CLUB STAY

Malawian forward, Shaquille Gwengwe, has signed a new contract to stay at Dorchester Town Football Club ahead of the 2024/25 season

Following another impressive season last time out, the club's two-time Golden Boot award winner will be back at The Avenue for a third campaign looking to add to his 30 goals in 79 appearances in black and white.

The team's boss Tom Killick said: "Shaq is a player of exceptional talent and someone that we feel has a real connection to the club and the supporters.

"It’s so good to see him show real loyalty in committing to us for another season, as I feel he is already one of the best strikers in the league and has the potential to improve still further."

The forward is illegible to play for Malawi and England if he chooses to play international football.
