FIFA TRUSTS NKHAKANANGA
The World's Football governing body, FIFA, has assigned Malawi's controversial referee, Godfrey Nkhakananga, to officiate the match involving Sierra Leone and Djibouti in the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers next month.
This has been confirmed on Wednesday after the Association confirmed the officials of the upcoming matches in the continent.
Meanwhile, National Referees Association, Chris Kalichero, said this shows that FIFA has still trust on the Malawian referees and that they really perform well in the country.
The match will be played on 05 June 2024 in Morocco and Nkhakananga will be assisted by his counterpart, Clemence Kanduku and Lucky Kegakologetswe from Botswana.
