WANDERERS CONFIRMS SECOND PLACE AMIDST STRUGGLE
Mighty Mukuru Wanderers' struggle in the final days of the League continues as they failed to win in their third straight match following a 1-1 draw against Creck Sporting Club on Wednesday afternoon at the Aubrey Dimba Stadium.
Frank Phiri cancelled out a Misheck Botomani's first half opener to share a point each which has helped the Nomads cement their second place in the League ending a threat from FCB Nyasa Big Bullets which has moved three points behind them.
Head coach for the team, Bob Mpinganjira said the result was not s true reflection of the game as they dominated in the whole game.
"It is not a true reflection of the game, we dominated in the first and second half but we didn't create the chances to score so in Football we need goals to do better." Said Mpinganjira.
He however said his team missed Isaac Kaliati and Gaddie Chirwa who were suspended and injured respectively but that gives chances to other players to fit in
