Premier Bet Dedza Dynamos head coach, Andrew Bunya, said his team's tactics in the second half failed to work as his substitution did not work as planned giving Mighty Mukuru Wanderers a room for goals.
Bunya said this after their 3-1 defeat against the Nomads and said they tried to contain their opponents on the midfield but were outclassed making them to gift goals to the hosts.

Christopher Kumwembe scored an early goal in the third minute but was eclipsed by Chifuniro Mpinganjira on 20th minute before Kaliati curling in a beauty and a header to seal the win.
The Nomads head coach, Meke Mwase said: "It is an important win, we started on high in the first half and we got that goal but our friends came back so in the second half, we made changes that helped us in the game to get the victory so I should thank the boys because it's not simple to come back from those two losses." Moyale Barracks head coach, Prichard Mwansa, said his team need to improve on how are playing in their games so that they win every game they are playing in order to perform well in the League.

BULLETS CONFIRMS FAM'S REQUEST FOR PASUWA AND KONDOWE
FCB Nyasa Big Bullets has confirmed that the Football Association of Malawi has written them to request for the temporary appointment of their head coach, Kalitso Pasuwa, and Fischer Kondowe in various Malawi Under 23 positions.
The team's Chief Administration Officer, Albert Chigoga, has confirmed the development saying the governing body's letter has reached them and awaits approval from the team.
FAM wants Pasuwa to lead the Under 23 team to this year's COSAFA Senior Challenge while Kondowe to be a physical fitness trainer.
Malawi will send the Under 23 team because of the senior team's engagement in the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers this month.

He said this ahead of his debut match against Dedza Dynamos after the confirmation that he has been cleared to start playing games and said he has no pressure as his job is to score goals.
Meanwhile, the 23 year old responded to critics who said he has stayed long without kicking football that he will respond to that with actions.

Mighty Mukuru Wanderers has promoted their Reserve side coach, Bob Mpinganjira, to deputise Meke Mwase after the position was left vacant following the departure of coach Nsanzurwimo Ramadan.
Our publication has it that Mpinganjira has been given the role to return to the senior team since 2022 when the late Eddington Ng'onamo replaced him.

Mighty Mukuru Wanderers has released names of four players who will compete for the Player of the month of May award following their impressive performances in the month.
The team has nominated forward, Gad Chirwa, who won one man of the match award against FCB Nyasa Big Bullets, Blessings Singini and two defenders, Ahamad Kungunde and Timothy Silwimba to compete for the awards.

PREDATOR READY FOR DYNAMOS
Mighty Mukuru Wanderers Cameroon forward, Sama Thierry Tanjong, could make his debut on Saturday after the arrival of his International Transfer Certificate in the country.
Football Association of Malawi's club licensing and transfers manager, Cassper Jangale, confirmed the development saying the player will have to wait to be registered by Super League of Malawi to start playing.
Meanwhile, the Nomads Chief Executive Officer, Panganani Ndobvi, said the player is more than ready to play against Dedza Dynamos once cleared by SULOM.
"This is what we have waited for a long period, we have sent his ITC to SULOM and we hope he will play on Saturday." Said Ndovi.
The 23 year old signed a two year contract with the Nomads three weeks ago but have failed to play because he was yet to be cleared.

Chelsea has announced the appointment of Sonia Bompastor as new head coach on a four-year contract.
She is the first person to win the UEFA Womens Champions League as a player and a coach and was coaching Olympic Lyon.
She replaces Emma Hayes who left the club after the end of the 2023/24 season.
FIFA TRUSTS NKHAKANANGA
The World's Football governing body, FIFA, has assigned Malawi's controversial referee, Godfrey Nkhakananga, to officiate the match involving Sierra Leone and Djibouti in the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers next month.
This has been confirmed on Wednesday after the Association confirmed the officials of the upcoming matches in the continent.
Meanwhile, National Referees Association, Chris Kalichero, said this shows that FIFA has still trust on the Malawian referees and that they really perform well in the country.

One of the seasoned journalists in the country, Steve Liwewe Banda, has sensed something wrong at Mighty Mukuru Wanderers after the departure of the team's head coach, Nsanzurwimo Ramadan on Sunday.
Liwewe wrote this on Facebook page saying if the team welcomed the new coach after the departure of Mark Harrison and nothing has changed, it means something is wrong.
"If you change Coaches and your situation still remain the same, then something is wrong." Wrote Liwewe.
For a long period of time, the Nomads have been criticized for poor administration at the team which is facing strings of poor results and trophyless seasons.

MKAMANGA PROMOTED TO LEAD CHITIPA
Chitipa United has promoted Gift Nathaniel Mkamanga to an interim coach at the team following the departure of coach Macnerbert Kadzuwa and his deputy, Elvis Kafoteka.
This has been done on Monday as the team has promoted Mkamanga, who was the second deputy coach for the team when the current season began.

FCB Nyasa Big Bullets head coach, Callisto Pasuwa, said his team failed to do well when attacking and it's an assignment he needs to do so that they start getting goals.
The Zimbabwean tactician said this after the team's 0-0 draw with Moyale Barracks at the Mzuzu Stadium but hailed his defense for the job well done to keep a clean sheet in the match.
"A game that we struggled when going forward as we missed chances we get maybe defensively we did good we defended as they were hard as many times they were hitting our Strikers and attackers and we managed to contain them, maybe it's a worrisome of how offensive wise we need to go and work with our offensive part in order for us to start getting goals." Said Pasuwa.
The People's team remain fourth on the table as they have 14 points from their three wins and five draws while Moyale Barracks have 11 points on position 7 after 8 games as well.
