Masters turned into slaves at Silver
Masters Football Club's perfect start in the FDH Premiership was shattered by Silver Strikers after being handed their first defeat of the season and losing first place following a 3-0 loss at the Silver Stadium on Sunday.
The newly formed side were below their best in the game as Andrew Joseph, Festus Duwe and MacDonald Lameck's strikes helped the Bankers to secure the big win.
Head coach Peter Mponda said despite the loss, Silver Strikers were not much better than his team but missing chances cost them.
"Unfortunately we were playing two different games, in terms of tactics I think we were spot on apart from that throw-in we conceded, I don't think Silver Strikers created chances in the game and if you say they were dominant I would disagree with you," said Mponda.
He also said that the scoreline could lead people to think Silver Strikers outplayed them, but he believes his side put up a great fight in the game and they will need to bounce ba
