Meck Mwase has been unveiled as a head coach for Mbabane Highlanders in Eswatini today.

Mwase returns at the team as he led them in 2015-16 season where the team finished second in the League, their best finish in the League over the past decade.

This is his first job since leaving Mighty Wanderers last season due to his own reasons.

DRC based Scorchers duo, Sabina Thom and Chimwemwe Madise, arrived in the country over the weekend and joined the rest of the team in training today ahead of the February Women’s FIFA Window friendlies against Zambia.

The two are part of the 7 professionals who will play for the team against the Cooper Queens.

Scorchers forward, Sabina Thom, has penned a farewell letter to TP Mazembe Feminine as she confirms her departure after staying for two years at the team.

The forward wrote the message on Monday through her Facebook account where she describe the period with the team as good.

"As I bid farewell to this incredible team and the city that has been my home for the past 2 years, I am filled with mixed emotions. It has been an absolute honor and privilege to wear the @fcTPMfemeni jersey and represent this prestigious club.

Since joining the team in 2023, I have had the opportunity to be a part of some of the most memorable moments in the club’s history. Together, we have lifted several trophies and these achievements are a testament to hard work, dedication and I feel privileged to have been a part of this team.

Ekhaya Football Club has announced their third signing of the day as they sign Christopher Gototo on loan from Silver Strikers.

The former Ascent Academy forward has joined the Cowboys on a one year deal.

Last season, he was sent out on loan again at Civil Service United where he still struggled with form.

FCB Nyasa Big Bullets has confirmed the departure of forward, Antony Mfune, from the team as the player reach an agreement to leave.

The team has announced the news through their Website on Monday afternoon.

Mfune had his name not available in the team's 25 member squad for the 2025 season but now is still nursing an injury as he went to Zambia for a knee surgery.

Bullets signed Mfune from Karonga United and has won numerous title with the team.

Ekhaya unveils Mwansambo

In a twist of events, newly promoted Ekhaya Football Club, has unveiled Bangwe All Stars defender, Fanizo Mwansambo, who has penned a two years contract.

The team has confirmed about the news on Monday through their Facebook page hours after missing Precious Sambani's deal.

"Ekhaya FC is excited to announce the signing of Fanizo Mwansambo from Bangwe All Stars.

The 24-year-old defender joins The Cowboys on a two-year contract." Wrote Ekhaya.

Meanwhile, Bangwe All Stars made a communication that Mwansambo has joined Mighty Wanderers but he had already put to paper at the Cowboys.

Mwansambo made 36 appearances across all competitions for his former club last season and has been with the team for five years as a captain.

Wanderers at risk of losing another defender

As Mighty Wanderers supporters believe that they need to add defenders, the team is at risk of losing Ahamad Kung'unde who is yet to start pre-season training with the team.

Kung'unde was promoted to the senior team from the Reserve side in 2022 and was used as a back up in the defense.

Meanwhile, towards the end of last season, he asked the team's board to hike his salary as he is the only regular receiving a small package.

However, nothing has been done on the issue forcing the player not start trainings with the team.

According to the player, he is very ready to leave the team if nothing changes.

Some members of the technical panel are trying to convince the bosses to do the demands of the player to avoid losing him but some bosses want him leave the team.

Chigoga: Munthali has a vast experience

FCB Nyasa Big Bullets Chief Executive Officer, Mr Albert Chigoga, says the team settled for Heston Munthali to lead their Reserve side because he has a vast experience with the Senior team in the past 7 years.

He said this as Munthali was confirmed as a head coach for the Reserve side replacing Enos Chatama who left the team after 9 years.

He said he hopes Munthali will do a very good job to produce players for the senior team.

"Coach Hes [Heston Munthali] came here in 2017 when he had just FAM C coaching license but we have developed him and has now a CAF B so we have trusted him because he was with the senior team as a assistant coach and striker's trainer and that experience we hope will help the team." Said Chigoga.

Meanwhile, speaking after given the position, Munthali believes with cooperation, they will do a great job.

"I am very happy to have this job. Our job is to produce players for the Senior team, if we work well with some guys

NKHOMA TO JOIN RED ARROWS

Malawian forward, Zeliat Nkhoma, is currently in Lusaka, Zambia where is set to join Zambian military side and MTN Super League defending champions, Red Arrows FC.

According to reports in Zambia, Nkhoma, who played for Flames last year will be confirmed as a Arrows player soon.

Arrows was on the market looking for a striker after the departure of their deadly forward, Ricky Banda last month.

Nkhoma plays for 2016 TNM Super League Champions, Kamuzu Barracks and scored 15 goals last season in all competitions and one at Flames in 2024.

FCB Nyasa Big Bullets has announced that Heston Munthali Kajore will be the head coach for their Reserve team.

The team made the announcement on thursday through their Facebook page.

Munthali, who in the past years served as a deputy coach of Kalisto Pasuwa at the senior team, replaced Enos Chatama who left the team for Ekhaya FC.

Scorchers trip to Zambia on

Football Association of Malawi President, Fleetwood Haiya, says it is the right time their Association stop depending everything on the government but rather find sponsors so that they have all their plans fulfilled.

Haiya said this to confirm Scorchers' trip to Zambia for two friendlies to go as planned after the Malawi National Council of Sports said they will not fund the trip.

He said it is his wish to see Womens Football active and every FIFA window and tournament, the Scorchers will be playing.

"The government doesnt help us only financially but also technically but we need sponsors also as the government can not do it all alone."

Newly appointed Flames coach, Kalisto Pasuwa, says it is a very simple job to qualify for the African Cup of Nations but needs to work together in everything and it is possible.

Maresca: FA Cup exit a big SHAME

Chelsea manager, Enzo Maresca, has called their FA Cup exit on Saturday as a big shame after the team lost 2-1 to Brighton and Hove Albion in a late kick off.
