Khuda Myaba scored in the 27th minute after a good run from right wing overlapping defender Stanley Sanudi who was the captain of the day. Zimbabwe missed a lot of chances in the first half.
Half time score 1-0 in favour of Malawi. In the 50th minute, Schumacher Kuwali made it 2-0 before Blessings Sarupinda scored in the 62nd minute and Musaka in 79th minute for Zimbabwe to make it 2 all.
Both teams made some changes here and there. Next game for Flames: Mozambique vs Malawi on Sunday.
