Chirwa stars as Ngezi Platinum end Caps United's perfect run

Flames full back, Gomegzani Chirwa, produced an outstanding performance for Ngezi Platinum Stars on his return from a frustrating international break after providing an assist to inspire them to a 1-0 win over Caps United.

The team faced the leaders who had picked four wins in four games but managed to stop them thanks to Chirwa's great ball to Karengesha who netted the lone goal.

He was replaced in the 55th minute as he was also in action for Flames on Tuesday in their 1-0 defeat against Botswana.

Meanwhile, Chawanangwa Kaonga and Lloyd Njaliwa were rested for Caps United as they were also with the National team.

Ngezi are now fourth with 11 points from three wins and two draws while Caps United remain top with 12 points from four wins and one defeat in the Castle Lager Premier League in Zimbabwe.
