FAM hikes Elite League teams' subvention fee

Football Association of Malawi has increased the subvention fee for teams in the elite league from K20 million to K35 million to help in smoothening their administration.

The Association's President, Fleetwood Haiya, has disclosed this on Saturday during the Super League of Malawi's Annual Central meeting in Salima.

Haiya said FAM is committed to develop football in the country hence making sure teams have necessities enabling them to compete at the highest level.

He has also hailed SULOM administration for their brilliance in doing their work and also helping a lot in commercialization drive to teams.

Furthermore, he challenged the team that have been promoted this year to do better as they are graduates from National Division League.
