"WE ARE NOW CLOSING IN ON SILVER" - MWASE
Mighty Mukuru Wanderers head coach, Meke Mwase, said their 2-0 win over Baka City is vital for the team as they are now closing in on the League's leaders, Silver Strikers.
Mwase said this after the match at the Karonga Stadium on Thursday afternoon and said his team struggled in the first half as they are coming from a loss and also they were battling against wind but second half they got the goals.
"It was a good game considering that we are coming from a loss so we struggled here and there but thanks to the boys for they worked hard to find the win. It is an important win as we have shortened our gap on the first team." Said Mwase.
The Nomads have finished the first round of the second on second position with 28 points from 15 points, 9 points behind Silver Strikers.
