Malawi National Football team has dropped points from 1141 to 1138 in the latest World FIFA rankings but have maintained their 125 position in the world.

This has been known in the latest rankings released by the World's Football governing body on Thursday.

The Flames have played two games this month, beating lowly ranked Sao Tome and Principe 3-1 before suffering a 1-0 defeat over Equatorial Guinea in the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.
