BAKA CITY, CRECK MISS OUT ON SULOM'S SUBVENTION

Super League of Malawi (SULOM) has announced that they have given 14 teams an amount of K5 million each as annual grants after qualifying for the pre-access requirements.

In a press statement released on 22 May 2024, SULOM said 14 teams received MK5 Million each while two rookies, Baka City Football Club and CRECK Sporting Club are yet to get their funds after failing to finalize the required documentation.

The K5 Million is part of the K20 Million subvention that SULOM pledged to the Clubs earlier this year. Half of the pledged subvention is expected to be paid by FAM and league sponsors, TNM.

SULOM Treasure, Allie Mwachande said the two clubs, Baka City and CRECK Sporting who are yet to receive their chunk, will get it after fulfilling all the conditions.

Meanwhile, Football Association of Malawi has promised that the remaining money in the subvention will be given to the teams soon.
