MABEDI CLARIFIES MHANGO'S ACT
By Hastings Wadza Kasonga Jr
Flames coach, Patrick Mabedi, said he gives players freedom to go to the dressing room after being substituted because as a team they don't have changing kits.
Mabedi said this as a response to what Gabadinho Mhango did after heading straight to the dressing room after his substitution on 52nd minute and he warned the media to "don't mix sugar and salt".
"I think on that issue let me make myself clear. In Europe we see players maybe changing clothes after being substituted but here, we don't have those kits so I give a freedom to go and change because you may end the 90 minutes while wet. As for Gaba, he came at the bench, we shoke hands, I think it could be worrisome if he just left without coming at the bench so don't mix sugar and salt." Said Mabedi.
The South African based player had had a very bad game after failing to shine with the team performing badly in the first half against Kenya. Malawi lost 1-2 in the match.
