CHITIPA HASTE TO FINALIZE HOME GROUND PROJECT
Chitipa United vice person, Mike Yobe, says they will try to work out in things that are remaining at the Chitipa United so that they start playing at the facility soon.
This comes after Football Association of Malawi visited Chitipa district to inspect the facility but found out that few things need to be done for the pitch to be ready.
The team said through their Facebook page that FAM told them they are not far away completing the works to make the facility ready to host elite matches.
"We are glad to announce that we did not do that badly as the inspector, Robert Mzinza only hinted at a few things to be done and improved if we are to use Chitipa Stadium as our home ground." Wrote Chitipa United.
Meanwhile, Yobe said playing at the Stadium will help to reduce costs for the team as they travel in their every match in the league. He said they will try as soon as possible to finalize everything at the facility.
