CHAWINGA'S WUHAN CONTRACT EXPIRES

Scorchers forward, Temwa Chawinga, says she is overwhelmed with offers she is receiving from different teams in Europe and China but says she is weighing them.

This comes after the expiry of her four years contract with Wuhan Jiangda this month and has attracted the interests of team's following her brilliant performances in China Women's Super League. She said she is still looking into the offers.

"I am overwhelmed with the offers I am getting from Europe and China. My contract with Wuhan expired but they have offered me a year long to help them in the Asian Champions League and some teams in Europe have reached me so I am weighing the deals." Said Chawinga.

The star had a year to remember after winning four golden boot awards as she scored 61 goals for club and Country in 2023.
