"DON'T MISINTERPRET MY ACTIONS, I'M NOT AFRAID" - NYAMILANDU
Football Association of Malawi President, Walter Nyamilandu Manda, says his decision to appeal against the candidature of his opponent, Fleetwood Haiya, should not be taken as a sign of fear and weakness.
He said this after his appeal to the FAM electoral body that Haiya should not be allowed to start because he has not resigned from his position as Super League of Malawi's President was denied for a late submission.
He said he is more than ready to defend his position and that he was just promoting justice and the laws of the country.
"My actions to appeal should not be misinterpreted as a sign of weakness but rather a gesture of boldness to stand for justice against the oppressed and to defend the statuses that govern Malawi Football." Said Nyamilandu to Nation Newspaper.
