TEMWA'S 27TH GOAL WINS THE LEAGUE IN CHINA
Scorchers forward, Temwa Chawinga, netted a lone goal for Wuhan Jiangda to win their fourth consecutive Chinese Women's Football League after beating Jiangsu Suning 1-0 on Saturday.
Chawinga headed into the net from a beautiful cross on 66th minute to seal the win and send Wuhan to 58 points, four ahead of second placed, Shanghai BCR in the league.
Meanwhile, the forward is on course of winning her fourth golden boot award only this year after she won two already for club and one for her country.
Wuhan has won the league in 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 with Chawinga winning gold medals in all years with the team.
