"SCORCHERS WILL GET THE SAME ALLOWANCE AS FLAMES" - NYAMILANDU

Football Association of Malawi President, Dr Walter Nyamilandu Manda, has said the National Women's Football team players will receive camping and travelling allowances equally as the Flames after Prophet Shepherd Bushiri pumping K10 million to cover that side.

Nyamilandu made the announcement on Friday during the Sponsorship signing deal with Goshen City at the Golden Peacock in Lilongwe. The Scorchers captain, Temwa Chawinga made the request to Bushiri and Nyamilandu about allowances and the FAM President made an instant response.

"We have received K10 million for the girls there, I don't want grudges when we go out there. People will say I have put it in my pocket, the girls allowances will be like that of men." Said Nyamilandu.

The Scorchers will leave the country on Monday for South Africa to compete in the COSAFA Women's Championship 2023 edition with a target of winning the tournament.
