SILVER CRACK CRECK TO TOPPLE LEAGUE

Silver Strikers have moved up to the top of the FDH Premiership table after securing a hard-fought 1-0 win over Creck Sporting Club at the Civo Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Nickson Mwase netted the lone goal in the 22nd minute of the game to secure maximum points against the wounded hosts who are pegged at the bottom of the table.

Assistant Coach for the team Mapopa Msukwa said the game was tough as Creck Sporting Club gave them a tough time mostly in the second half.

"It was a tough game, let me salute Creck Sporting Club for their outstanding performance in the game but for us it is good that we have won," said Msukwa.

He also said that they have seen the mistakes done in the game and will be rectified ahead of their upcoming match against Goshen City Dedza Dynamos next weekend.

The win took the Bankers up to the top of the League with 25 points from 7 wins, four draws and one defeat in the league.
