KB SECURES FIRST WIN IN TWO MONTHS

Kamuzu Barracks have secured their first win in two months after ending their five-game losing streak with a 2-1 comeback win over Blue Eagles at the Civo Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

The Soldiers trailed in the fifth minute courtesy of Farhad Mtcheka's second goal of the season but Kelvin Hanganda levelled the scores in the 19th minute before netting a late spot kick sealed the win.

This was the team's second win of the season as they last won 3-1 against Creck Sporting Club on 16 May 2026 before losing to Ekhaya, Goshen City Dedza Dynamos, FCB Nyasa Big Bullets, Chitipa United and Masters FC consecutively in the league.

Head coach for the team Kenwood Nkhoma described the win as good and attributed win to God's answered prayer.

"It is a thing that I have been praying for and God has given us today, imagine failing against other team and win over a team that is doing better is a huge motivation," said Nkhoma.

The win lifted the team up to 15th
