Nyasulu Close to Joining Scottland FC
Flames defender Nickson Nyasulu is reported to be close to joining Castle Lager Premier Soccer League champions Scottland FC. The club is looking to beat Hardrock FC to the player’s signature.
Nyasulu was first targeted by Hardrock, which had written to FC Platinum to enquire about his availability. FC Platinum demanded US50,000 dollars plus Junior Makunike for the deal.
However, before the move could be finalized, Scottland FC entered the race and are now set to complete the transfer, according to reports in Zimbabwe.
The deal could see Scottland striker Isakar Gurirab move in the opposite direction. Nyasulu is keen to reunite with his former coach Norman Mapeza, with whom he worked at FC Platinum.
The defender has been consistent since joining the Zimbabwean side from FCB Nyasa Big Bullets. He played 33 games last season and has kept his place in the team this season.
