Isaac Jomo Osman's Ntopwa booted out from TNM Super League
Ntopwa are the second team to be relegated in the country's elite league, TNM following a 0-1 defeat to Mighty Tigers.
This is despite that the Amaghetto Kids are remaining with 2 games to complete their TNM Super League fixtures.
In the first 45 minutes, Ntopwa created more goal scoring opportunities but converting chances into goals was a challenge.
Mphatso Magaleta and Hendrix Misinde missed several clear chances in the first half.
It was the Kau-Kau boys who played fantastic football in the final half following the intoduction of Chikaiko Batison and Jones Kanyumba at 50 minutes.
The duo replaced Chikumbutso Banda and Joseph Balakasi.
Mighty Tigers defender, Emmanuel Nyirenda scored the lone goal of the match at 62 minutes from a deflection inside Ntopwa's half.
Speaking after the game, Tigers Head Coach Trevor Kajawa applauded his charges for collecting maximum points.
Kajawa said the win is a relief to his side as they aim to survive the relegation.
On his part, Ntopwa Technical Director, Isaac Jomo Osman said Covid-19 has had an impact on the teams performance.
