Speaking to Owinna, Mzuzu Warriors Assistant Coach, Laurence Kabaghe, said the players are underperforming because they lack motivation.
Kabaghe has appealed to the clubs administrators to find ways of motivating the team to win more games in the elite league.
Mzuzu Warriors will play away to Red Lions and Nyasa Big Bullets in their opening games at Chiwembe and Kamuzu Stadium respectively.
