"IT WAS A TOUGH GAME" - MPINGANJIRA
Flames U-20 coach, Bob Mpinganjira, said he was not impressed with how his team performed despite beating Zimbabwe 3-2 in the Four Nations tournament opener at the Silver Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.
Mpinganjira said this in a Post-match interview to the media saying there were a lot of negatives which he needs to work out on them ahead of their crash against Kenya.
"It was a very tough game, we did not play very well especially in the first half we were second on the ball and too slow better in the second half, we improved and hence we got those two goals. We have just trained for two weeks so the fitness levels were too and we misplaced a lot of passes." Said Mpinganjira.
Malawi will play Kenya on Friday to conclude their matches in the tournament and so far they lead with three points taken from the Zimbabwe win.
