Kukoma Ntopwa wallop Moyale Sisters to move fourth
Kukoma Ntopwa Queens have broken into the top four of the NBM Womens Championship after thumping Moyale Sisters 4-0 in an early kick off match at the Mpira Stadium on Saturday.
Takondwa Gambuleni scored her 8th goal of the season in the first half before Mary Chindeya doubling the scores in the 75th minute and Kondawo Banda got her brace to secura big win.
Assistant coach for the Amaghetto Kids, Chikumbutso Henry, thanked his players for their outstanding performance in the League.
"I am a happy person because at least the team is able to do better in the second round. We have many injuries but other players have stepped up and shown a brilliant performance as well," said Henry.
His opposite number, John Chimwala, said that his players have already given up that they are already relegated from the League.
"It is not tiredness but rather the players have just given up. They are not willing to deliver that's why we are cconceding easy goals," said Chimwala.
The win took Kukoma Ntopwa Queens up to fourth in the League with 27 poimts from 8 wins, three draws and five defeats while Moyale Sisters drop down to 10th with just 5 points from one win, two draws and 13 defeats in the League.
