FAM TO EMPLOY FULL TIME COACHES, SET A PHILOSOPHY
Football Association of Malawi President, Fleetwood Haiya, says his Association will hire permanent coaches for all teams including the Flames in 2025 so that they improve the performances of the teams.
He said this during an event where he was celebrating his first year as the President at the Association at the Bingu International Convention Center in Lilongwe on Friday.
He said Flames has struggled to do better in the year and a permanent coach is coming while also they are finalising a philosophy on which the coaches will stick to once hired.
"In 2025 we will have full time coaches in all teams and we are also finalizing our Philosophy. Each coaches comes with their own, Bola Kunthazi, others say we play like Barcelona but we need to have our own which these coaches will be following." Said Haiya.
FAM recently fired Patrick Mabedi who failed to win even a single game during the African Cup of Nations Qualifiers and was replaced
by interim coach, Kalisto Pasuwa, who is heavily linked to permanently take over the Flames.
