"HONESTLY THE GAME WAS NOT TOUGH" - FAZILI
Scorchers head coach, Lovemore Fazili, said that their game against Australia was not tough but the team made avoidable mistakes that lead to conceding more goals in the game.
He said this after suffering a 5-0 defeat in the FIFA World Series in Kenya amd said the team has drawn a lot of lessons from the match.
Fazili said the experience of their opponents helped them to get goals that were avoidable but the mistakes will be corrected in training.
"The goalkeeping was not bad but it didn't give us what we need, we had problems in defence and slightly on the midfield but striking force we were good. The mistakes are just minimal," he said.
He also said that Australia is quite different from COSAFA team due to their fastness and technicality and lessons taken from the game will help them in preparation for the Womens African Cup of Nations.
