Katinji scores on Chicken Inn debut

Malawian international, Binwell Katinji, netted his first goal for Chicken Inn FC in his first game for the team as they were held to a 1-1 draw against Herentals in the Castle Lager Premier League in Zimbabwe.

Katinji, who was unveiled two days ago, was handed a start into the game and open the scores into the first half before they conceded in the last 45 minutes.

In another match that involved Malawians, Ngezi Platinum Stars secured a 2-1 win over FC Platinum in the platinum derby on Saturday.

Gomegzani Chirwa wore his favourite number 15 as he played full minutes while Maxwell Paipi was handed a start on his debut as he partnered with Nickson Nyasulu at the back of FC Platinum.

The games were played in the first week of the League.
