Kasongo guides Chitipa into top 8 after classy comeback

Chitipa United produced a brilliant show to stun Mighty Tigers after coming from two goals down to claim a 3-2 win thanks to substitute Mally Kasongo's impact at the Chitipa Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.

The Basongo found themselves traling by two goals before the hour-mark after substitute Daniel Shadreck netted twice for Tigers but Mally Kasongo got a brace with another substitute Zenga Manda alao on target to secure a vital win.

Head coach Kondwa Ikwanga was left not impressed with his team's goalkeeper but hailed his chances that made an impact in the game.

''We have a youthful team that needs much more guidance and even you can hear my voice, i was busy shooting but i believe that once they start following we will have a very good side,'' said Ikwanga.

The win took the team up to 7th in the league as they now have 27 points from 9 wins, 9 draws and 9 defeats in the League.
