Messi effect!

Lionel Messi scored twice and provided one assist as Inter Miami beat Los Angeles FC 3-1 to progress through to the semi finals of the CONCACAF Champions Cup on Wednesday night.

The team went into the match trailing by a goal which was scored in the first leg and conceded early into the game to trail 0-2 on aggregate but Messi stepped up to seal a massive 3-2 aggregate win.

Inter Miami will play Vancouver Whitecaps in the semi finals while Cruz Azul face Tigres FC in another semi final match.

This is his third goal in his last two matches as he also scored over the weekend.
