Solarise blesses SWAM with K1.6 million

The Sports Writers Association of Malawi Annual General Meeting has received a major boost after Solarise Limited pumped in K1.6 million to be used ahead of the meeting.

The Limited's Operations Manager, Clement Kampango, when presenting the money said they appreciate the role that sports journalists play in entertaining and informing the nation.

"We understand the problems faced by the media when doing their work in sports that's why we have decided to come with this donation to appreciate their work." Said Kampango.

SWAM's Vice President Lucy Kadzongwe, is the one who received the donation on Thursday afternoon and hailed the company for the donation.

The Meeting is going to take place in Salima starting on Saturday, 22 March 2025 where there will be some media trainings and also general elections for the positions.
