CHITIPA THANKS KARONGA FOR JOINT FORCES
Chitipa United head coach, Christopher Nyambose, has thanked his fellow Northern region team, Karonga United, for fighting for them in order to stay and said that has shown that they are one.
He said this after the team's 1-3 win over Baka City on the final day at the Karonga Stadium while Karonga United escaped a defeat in Mulanje when FOMO missed an 82nd minute penalty kick to play a 0-0 draw in favour of the Basongo.
Speaking after the game, Nyambose said it could have been a mockery if his team was relegated in the League and has remembered to thank Karonga United for fighting for them.
"We were afraid not because of Baka City but because other teams were playing at their home ground so the result in Mulanje has saved us, we thank Karonga United for the result, they have really shown that we are one." Said Nyambose.
