Mighty Tigers head coach, Leo Mpulula, says their win against Bangwe All Stars is a molare booster considering the current form of their rivals and also the fact that they were playing their rivals as it has set a clear path for the top 8 finish in the League.
He said this after sealing a 1-0 win at the Kamuzu Stadium and said it was sweet to win against Bangwe as the second round needs banking points in order to avoid relegation this season.
"It is indeed a sweet win when you do it against City rivals, Bangwe has really improved and are playing very well and this win is a molare booster and has given us confidence that we need to collect more points so that we remain in the League and also finish in the top 8." Said Mpulula.
He said his team dwells much on passing football hence their goal on Sunday was a build up of neat passes into the goal.
