"WE EXPECTED A TOUGH MATCH AS IT WAS" - KAWANGA
Kamuzu Barracks deputy coach, Blessings Kawanga said he was happy seeing his team claiming maximum points against Civo United as they both come from the same neighbourhood.
Kawanga said this after beating Civo United 2-1 at the Civo Stadium and said the win is vital as they have moved to another step in the league
"It was a tough game as we expected before the match as we both come from the same neighbourhood but we really fought well and we are happy we got the points." Said Kawanga.
He further said his boys could have suffered a defeat following their lapse in the second half but said they will sort out everything when they return to their training base.
The Yellow Marines are now fifth on the table with 8 points from 4 games after managing to win and draw twice each.
