"MALAWI WILL QUALIFY FOR THE WORLD CUP IF I'M VOTED" - NYAMILANDU
The incumbent Football Association of Malawi President, Walter Nyamilandu Manda, has launched his manifesto of bridging the gap on Thursday with 8 main points based on developing football.
Nyamilandu said if he will be put into power again, Flames will qualify for the African Cup of Nations on 2025 and also the 2026 FIFA World Cup, he will implement the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) and hike allowances for Flames and Scorchers.
He also said the Mpira house will be moved to Lilongwe and that he will build a 5 Star hotel in the Capital city whereas Blantyre will have a new Stadium with the capacity of 40,000 and that the funds are already in.
He will also recruit referees in Schools, identify talent for Men's and Women's Football and beach Soccer and also bring Electronic and online ticketing. Nyamilandu will compete with Fleetwood Haiya for the seat.
