ASCENT ACADEMY ARE CHAMPIONS IN EUROPE!!!!!!!

Lilongwe based Sports Academy, Ascent Soccer, are the Champions of Rey Cup in Iceland after beating Prottur 1-0 in the final played on Sunday.

The team have finished the competition without a defeat and conceding a goal after making their brilliant performance in their first major tournament in Europe and star, Mwisho Mhango scored the lone goal.

Ascent became the second African Academy to take part in the competition and are the first from Africa to win the Cup.
