Mpinganjira late penalty miss deny Dynamos victory

Chifuniro Mpinganjira scored two goals but failed to convert a late penalty that could have sealed a win for Premier Bet Dedza Dynamos as the team came from behind twice to cancel Kamuzu Barracks' lead in a 2-2 draw at the Champions Stadium.

Francis Mchema and Zeliati Nkhoma were on target for the hosts twice but both goals were cancelled out by Mpinganjira who failed to score from 12 yards with 10 minuted left on the clock for Dynamos.

However, after claiming four points in his first two games at Dedza, Alex Ngwira, described the game as very tough.

"It was a very tough match all together, we conceded silly goals in the first half however we equalised both of them and in the second half we at least improved but a draw is not bad." Said Ngwira.

The victory took Dynamos up to 9th in the table with 10 points from 8 games having won three, drawn one and lost four matches this season.
